As many of you are aware Facebook is a great place to meet like-minded people from around the world. It is a chance to really connect with people that you may not be able to because of your geographic location etc. This is how it began I met Mari on Facebook in one of the groups we both belong to and I added her as a friend. We messaged each other here and there and soon realized we had a common appreciation for traveling and having a mobile business and lifestyle. Exchanging messages here and there on Facebook I soon realized that she was on Vancouver Island, we should meet. So that was it, I met Mari and her husband Ty and learned more about their adventures and what they have planned for the 2008 year. This truly was a rewarding experience to meet face to face and know that you can create friendships in the virtual world and solidify them in the real world. My thanks to Mari and Ty for taking the time to meet me and I am truly grateful for it.
